On a beautiful sunny morning, our Reception pupils set off on a delightful walk down the hill to Meanwood Park. As they made their way through the woods, they imagined how Little Red Riding Hood might have felt on her journey to grandmother’s house, bringing their story to life in the heart of nature.
Their adventure continued at the café, tying into this week’s topic on money. The children carefully looked at the menu, selected their favourite ice cream flavours, and thought about how much each treat would cost.
After enjoying their delicious ice creams in the sunshine, the pupils happily made their way back to school.
