Huge congratulations to our two U11 Rugby teams for their incredible victories in the Brackenfield U11 Rugby Cup! Both teams were unstoppable, winning all of their fixtures against some seriously tough opposition on their way to securing the titles in both pools.
This marks the fourth consecutive year we’ve brought home the Brackenfield Cup, an amazing achievement that makes us so proud of all the boys who have helped keep this winning streak alive!
PE Specialist, Mr Sam Caygill, was full of praise for the teams:
“Both teams played absolutely phenomenally against a really high standard of opposition. They were ruthless and consistent from start to finish. Every tackle was hard, every ruck was contested, and the defensive lines were straight and organised – it was brilliant to watch. Mr Wilkinson and I have been working with the boys on their attacking game in club sessions, and they executed it perfectly – from miss passes to switches and pops, they scored some brilliant tries. They’ve been fired up for this for weeks, and their celebrations at the end showed just how much it meant to them and how proud they are to represent Richmond House. They worked incredibly hard for this, and it was so rewarding to see that effort bear fruit as they achieved something truly special together as a team.”
