Mrs Young reflects on the first half of the autumn term:
“Yet again we have had an action-packed start to the academic year. I can hardly believe how much progress has been made in the classroom and how many enrichment activities have been experienced in just seven weeks. Our pupils are truly embodying our core values of participation, enjoyment, achievement, and kindness. They have shown a genuine enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to embracing every opportunity that has come their way, which has been facilitated by our hard-working and inspirational staff, to whom I am endlessly grateful.
This half term has been a true community effort, and we have enjoyed some fantastic Parent Association activities, including the wonderfully spooky trail – evidence of the creativity and dedication among our parents. Thank you to all our parents and carers for your support; I see your contributions every day.
The heart of our school remains our culture of kindness, which continues to flourish. The children have embraced the weekly well-being challenges, and their engagement was particularly evident as we explored the importance of gratitude – both for the people in our lives and the simple gifts we enjoy. This spirit of gratitude shone through in our uplifting Harvest gathering this morning.
We are excited about the adventures and learning that the next half term will bring. Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable holiday!”
