Our U11 Rugby players put on a brilliant performance at the tournament held at Bradford Grammar School last week. PE Specialist, Mr Caygill, reports:

“From the moment they arrived, it was clear they had the right mentality and were ready for the challenge ahead. They warmed up together brilliantly, displaying a strong sense of togetherness and readiness to face the competition.

We fielded two teams, both equally balanced with experienced players, which proved to be a great support system for those who were less experienced. It was fantastic to see how the more seasoned players encouraged and guided their teammates. Both teams won the majority of their games, with only one or two narrow losses and draws against tough opposition.

Following several training sessions and after-school clubs, where players have been working hard on tackling techniques and passing, there’s been a huge improvement in a short time. It just shows the children are taking their rugby seriously and are eager to develop. I was particularly impressed by the team spirit. The way they supported and motivated each other, was truly at its peak!”
