Today, we celebrated the European Day of Languages with an exciting treasure hunt! Pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 participated, searching for clues hidden around the school. These clues, which were based on different languages, countries, and cultures, guided them to the final treasure – a chest filled with chocolate coins in the yurt.

Our younger pupils enjoyed their own treasure hunt, where they searched for and identified different flags displayed around the school.

As a school, we study French and Spanish and also participate in a program called WoLLoW. This program explores the history of languages, linguistic connections, and how languages are interlinked. Through WoLLoW, pupils have also been introduced to other languages, including Latin, Greek, and sign language.
