We are thrilled to announce that Richmond House School has received two generous donations from our valued alumni families, allowing us to enrich our school library with a collection of new books.

In selecting these books, our pupils played an integral role by providing numerous suggestions of their favourite authors and expressing a strong desire for book series to continue their reading adventures. Our aim was to curate a selection of ‘high-quality’ children’s literature, which includes introducing lesser- known authors to broaden our literary horizons. Furthermore, we made a concerted effort to broaden

our reading offerings to better reflect the diverse backgrounds and cultures within our community. This includes stories featuring protagonists with neurodiversity, disabilities, and other unique perspectives, always ensuring that the focus remains on delivering captivating narratives.

In addition to these efforts, we are proud to introduce a collection of fiction books that are dyslexia- friendly, featuring cream paper and a dyslexia-friendly font to enhance accessibility for all readers.

Recently, our Library Prefects and Library Club eagerly undertook the task of labelling and shelving these new additions, and our pupils are bubbling with excitement to delve into these new and captivating stories.

We extend our deepest gratitude once again to the Richmond House School alumni families whose extraordinary generosity has made this incredible addition to our library possible.
