On Friday 7 October, the parents’ association organised a special games night for those in the lower school. Everyone made a fantastic effort with their costumes including an appearance from our very our Mrs Young as chief pumpkin.
The event raised over £500 which will be used to fund the school’s participation in the Leeds Bear Hunt, a large-scale public art trail taking place across the Leeds next summer. The school will have the opportunity to have its very own Richmond House School bear cub to compliment the main trail.
The Leeds Bear Hunt will not only be celebrating the vibrancy, culture and creativity of Leeds but it is also raising money for the Leeds Children’s Hospital.
We would like to thank the parents’ association for organising such a successful event and to all those who took part. We cannot wait to be a part of Leeds Bear Hunt next year to help raise such vital funds for such a worthwhile charity.
